While there is some merit to the saying “Food before 1 is for fun“, parents need to be conscious that the manner in which we introduce our children to the world of food and nutrition can have a life-long impact on their physical and emotional well-being.

Let’s remove the confusion and overwhelm, so that you can enjoy this exciting milestone with your baby!


In the First Foods coaching packages, we’ll work together to empower you with the essentials on when to start solid foods, and how to do so in a manner that optimizes your little one’s digestion and immunity.

We’ll cover:

  • When to start
  • Purees vs. Baby Led Weaning
  • The logistics of when/how often/how much
  • Great first foods
  • Cereals – yay or nay?
  • Foods and nutrients to prioritize
  • Foods to limit
  • Foods to avoid
  • Iron-rich foods
  • Beverages
  • Tools and gadgets
  • How to choose the best ready-made options
  • Allergies/sensitivities/intolerances
  • Poop (of course!)
  • How to encourage healthy eaters (and improve the chances of *not* having a picky eater!)

Depending upon your family’s unique needs, you can select from one of two coaching options.

  • First Foods Foundations

We’ll have an hour together to review the essential topics, and you’ll leave armed with a game plan, food lists, and recipes.  

But fear not!  You’re not alone for those first few (overwhelming) weeks!  We’ll have two quick check ins to review, refresh, and set-your mind at ease.

  • First Foods Hand-Hold

Does your family have unique food restrictions, preferences, or concerns?

The First Foods Hand-Hold package starts by covering the same core information as the Foundations package, but then allows more time and flexibility to customize the information for *your* family’s unique needs.  Rather than an hour for our first chat, we’ll have 90 minutes to review the information and discuss your family’s priorities and concerns.  I’ll then adapt and customize your hand-outs and resources to match your unique needs, and we’ll have an extra 20 minute session to review the customized information.  We’ll then have four quick check ins along the way, to make sure you’re feeling confident and empowered.
